Curiosity 2025 Info

About Inquiry: Inquiry Collective is a family of musicians, artists, and creatives established on the West Coast in 2016. What began as a small musical collaborative effort between friends quickly grew into a much larger dream - a music centered collective that allows us to share and create with those who love and appreciate it most.

Our Mission: Create a community and cultivate an atmosphere bringing carefully selected music, dynamic experiences and unbound artistic expression for the curious at heart. Respect yourself, respect the land, respect each other. We ask everyone to be friendly and keep an open mind! Curiosity is a safe space, do your part as a member of our community to take care of your friends, yourself, and anybody that may be in need. Most of all, we encourage healthy choices: moderation, nutrition, hydration, and celebration!

READ ALL OF THIS!!!

For Newbies: Curiosity is a weekend-long non-commercial annual gathering of artists and friends curated and organized by the Inquiry Collective family and friends. It is run primarily by volunteers and is funded entirely by community donations.

Social Media: While we love that our family continues to grow annually, we ask that you keep conversations about Curiosity location & details off of social media and follow the rule to "Only invite those who you would invite into your own home"!

Trash: This is a leave no trace, pack it in - pack it out event. Bring empty trash bags and be prepared to take your trash (and any that you see on your way out) & recycling with you. END SINGLE USE! Bring refillable cups/utensils and no glass beverage containers. You'll have less trash too! This land is private land and we want to leave it in the same condition as when we arrived or better. Do not let cigarette butts hit the ground! We're not a festival with hired trash handlers, if you see trash on the ground, do your part and pick it up!

Be aware when getting there: While the drive in is not difficult, you will be driving on some unpaved desert road. If at all possible, avoid attendance in a low suspension vehicle but if not, drive at a slow and steady pace to avoid getting stuck.

Weather: It will be a gorgeous high of 80 and low of 42 (most likely). This is the high desert so sunscreen is crucial. Prepare for wind with layers. Wear whatever you can dance then get cozy in.

Fire safety: No personal fires, we have a communal bonfire & burn barrels that should be plenty warm! If you are spinning fire, take proper precautions to extinguish your fabulous flames. We will happily take firewood donations!

Food, Water, & Alcohol: We will NOT be providing food, water, or alcohol. There will be plenty of dancing & sunshine so bring all the sustenance required to keep you going. Be responsible and take care of yourself and your friends.

Port-a-potties: Respect the potties! No trash in them and the cleaner you keep them, the happier we'll all be!

Music at Camp: Please keep it down in the camp, no amplified music, Curiosity is a single-soundsystem event and the camp area is for sleeping.

Pets: Sorry, this is a human-only event. Do NOT bring your dog or other animals.
